There is hereby established the Sherman Municipal Airport located on such land at such place as shall be designated by the city council.

The city manager is hereby expressly authorized and empowered to promulgate rules and to supervise and direct the use of the airport, including its taxi strips, runways, hangars and hangar aprons, in such manner as to provide the best service and accommodations to the public using the airport. The city manager or his authorized representatives may direct the landing, taking off or taxiing of aircraft in and upon the airport.
