(a) Fees
for building permits double if work on the project begins prior to
issuance of the permit. All permit fees are to be paid in advance
by the licensed party who applies for the permit. Building valuation
is determined by the International Code Council (ICC) Building Valuation
Data Table (BVD). This calculation takes the total square feet of
a structure multiplied by the amount found on the BVD table for the
building group and construction type.
