Town of East Greenbush, NY Article III Homestead Base Proportions

§ 65-16 Adoption of statutory provisions.

The provisions of Real Property Tax Law § 1903, concerning homestead base proportions, are hereby adopted.

§ 65-17 Amount of exemption.

[Amended at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I)]

The homestead base proportions shall be for the Town of East Greenbush and the East Greenbush Central School District. These rates are established by the Town Board of the Town of East Greenbush, County of Rensselaer, State of New York, in accordance with the provisions of Article 19 of the Real Property Tax Law and the rules and regulations of the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance and shall apply to taxes annually on the Town of East Greenbush final assessment roll and to taxes levied on subsequent rolls until said local law shall be repealed.
