The street number address shall be required to be posted on all residential or commercial structures, mailboxes or curbs pertaining thereto.

The street number shall be visible from the street so that emergency vehicles will be able to locate and respond to the proper address in a timely manner.

(a)
The owner of any premises shall be responsible for posting street number addresses as required by this division.
(b)
The owner of any premises who fails to post street number addresses as required by this division shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in accordance with the general penalty provision found in section 1.01.009 of this code. Each day that a violation continues shall be a separate offense.
