The planning and zoning commission has power and authority to
approve plats for manufactured home and/or recreational vehicle parks
within the city and within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the
city, in accordance with the city’s subdivision regulations,
as applicable.

Duty of owners, developers and subdividers of manufactured home
and/or recreational vehicle parks shall be as follows:
(1) It
is suggested that any person developing, constructing and operating
a manufactured home or recreational vehicle park become familiar with
the regulations herein and the standards, requirements and the policy
of the comprehensive masterplan as prepared by the city planning commission,
which instrument is on file in the office of the planning commission,
that may relate to and have effect upon the general area in which
the proposed park is to be located. A copy of this article shall be
available from the office of the city secretary.
(2) Whenever
any park is proposed and before any permit for the erection of any
structure shall be granted by the building official and before any
license shall be issued by the city secretary, the person desiring
to develop a park shall conform to the specifications outlined in
this article and applicable regulations.

The plat for a manufactured home and/or recreational vehicle
park must be submitted and considered in the same manner as a subdivision
plat.
