This article is established as the regulations governing the use of Scotland Park Overnight Recreational Vehicle Park.

The user fee at the Scotland Park RV Park shall be per site and established by separate ordinance. Checkout is at 2:00 p.m. The recreational vehicle and/or tow vehicle license number shall be recorded on the envelope provided, and the envelope, with the fee, shall be deposited in the designated box. Said user fee shall be placed within the collection box immediately upon occupation of a space at the RV park.

By order of the city-county public health unit, the Scotland Park Overnight Recreational Vehicle Park may be used only by recreational vehicles that have water- and sewage-holding capabilities due to the lack of public restrooms.

(a) 
Vehicles must be parked only in designated spaces at the Scotland Park Overnight Recreational Vehicle Park.
(b) 
Vehicles may not be left unattended for more than 24 hours.
(c) 
Maximum park usage is 72 hours per two-week period; provided, however, a request for an extension for a specific number of days may be requested from the Parks and Recreation Department. Such request will be granted unless the park is full and extended stay would not be in the best interest of the city.
(d) 
Campsites accommodate one family or party unit of not more than eight persons.
(e) 
Persons under 18 years of age may stay overnight only if they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian or with the parent’s or guardian’s written permission.

(a) 
All garbage, papers, cans, bottles and rubbish must be disposed of in containers provided for the disposal thereof or removed from the area in the Scotland Park Overnight Recreational Vehicle Park.
(b) 
The drainage of gray water from any vehicle is prohibited.
(c) 
The disposal of any body waste in or on any portion of the recreational vehicle park, other than in the sanitary dump station provided for that purpose, is strictly prohibited.

In order to maintain peace and quiet for the enjoyment of the campers at the Scotland Park Overnight Recreational Vehicle Park, the following activities are prohibited between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. daily:
(1) 
Excessive noise from entertainment equipment which would disturb persons of ordinary sensibilities.
(2) 
Vehicle traffic, except for emergency purposes only.
(3) 
Persons conducting themselves in such a manner as to disturb campers who are sleeping.

The following general regulations shall be enforced for the Scotland Park Overnight Recreational Vehicle Park:
(1) 
No person shall light or build an open fire on the premises. Only charcoal-kindled fires in grills are permitted.
(2) 
No alcoholic beverages may be consumed on the premises.
(3) 
Public nudity or disrobing is prohibited.
(4) 
Solicitation of funds, distribution of circulars, assemblies and demonstrations and the sale of items is prohibited unless permission is given by the director of parks and recreation.
(5) 
Loaded firearms are prohibited.
(6) 
All pets must be on a leash or confined.
