The municipal court of the city is hereby authorized and required
to assess a municipal court building security fee in the amount of
$4.90 against all defendants convicted in a trial of a misdemeanor
offense by the municipal court. Each misdemeanor conviction shall
be subject to a separate assessment of the fee.

A defendant convicted in a trial for a misdemeanor offense in
the municipal court in the city shall pay a $4.00 technology fee as
costs of court.
