Before any consumer may have water service from the city water works the consumer must deposit with the city water works a reasonable amount as in the opinion of the city water works may be necessary, except that no deposit shall be for an amount less than one hundred dollars ($100.00).

Every application for a permit to drill a water well shall be filed with and accepted by the city secretary upon a deposit of a fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00) for the issuance of such permit.

(a) 
In the event that a customer needs assistance from city personnel after normal business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.), or weekends for nonemergency calls, the service charge shall be as follows:
$50.00 service fee per service call.
(b) 
Temporary water on - $50.00 dollars for seven days. This fee must be paid prior to service connection. Fee is for service call and administrative service only. Account must have a water deposit or deposit on hold. Water consumption will be billed to current account once utility is transferred to new resident.

In the event any user or customer of such systems does not pay matured rates and charges within thirty (30) days of the date the same becomes due and payable, which is the billing date, it is hereby made the duty of the city administrator to discontinue such services. Whenever the amount past due and delinquent is paid by such user or customer, such services may be resumed, but there shall be charged and collected a service fee of fifty dollars ($50.00).

In the event that a customer transfers an existing utility account from one service address to another, there shall be a transfer fee as follows:
