The city hereby levies a fee in the amount adopted by the city council, and as set out in the state Alcoholic Beverage Code, charged to premises authorized to sell alcoholic beverages within the city. Such city fees shall be collected by the chief of police and deposited into the city general fund at the time the state permits and licenses are issued or renewed.

The sale of alcoholic beverages by a dealer whose place of business is within three hundred (300) feet of a church, public school, or public hospital as measured in V.T.C.A., Alcoholic Beverage Code, section 109.33 is hereby prohibited.
