Town of Edinburg, VA Article II Sewer Connections and Discharges

§ 156-3 Connection fees.

[Amended at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. II)]

Sewer connection fees shall be as provided in Chapter 68, Fees, Article I, Water and Sewer Connecting Fees.

§ 156-4 Discharge of certain water to sanitary sewer prohibited.

No person shall discharge or cause to be discharged any stormwater, surface water, groundwater, roof runoff, subsurface drainage, cooling water or unpolluted industrial process waters to any sanitary sewer.

§ 156-5 Permit for construction of outdoor toilet or septic tank.

[Amended 6-13-2000]

It shall be unlawful for any person to obtain a permit to construct or have built on his property within the Town any outdoor toilet or septic tank.

§ 156-6 Violations and penalties.

[Amended 3-5-1991; 8-12-1998]

Any person found guilty of violation of this article shall be deemed guilty of a Class 3 misdemeanor. For each day upon which a violation of the provisions of this article shall occur, it shall be deemed a separate and additional violation for the purposes of this section.
