The International Energy Conservation Code and all appendices
thereto, 2015 edition, is hereby adopted as the official energy conservation
code of the village, to be effective as of June 1, 2017 for all construction,
alteration, movement, enlargement, replacement, repair, equipment,
use and occupancy, location, maintenance, removal and demolition of
every residential and commercial building or structure or any appurtenances
connected or attached to such building or structures (“construction”)
in the village on and after that date; the International Energy Conservation
Code, and appendices, 2006 edition, shall remain in effect until May
30, 2017 for all construction before June 1, 2017 only, and all construction
on or after June 1, 2017 shall be governed by the International Energy
Conservation Code and all appendices thereto, 2015 edition.
