A certain document, three (3) copies of which are in file in the office of the city secretary of the city, being marked and designated as the International Fuel Gas Code, 2018 edition, including appendix chapters A–D, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the fuel gas code of the city, in the state for regulating and governing fuel gas systems and fuel gas appliances; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said fuel gas code on file in the office of the city secretary are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this section, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in section 3.802 of this article.

The following changes are hereby made to the published version of the 2012 edition of the International Fuel Gas Code on file in the office of the city secretary. The changes contained herein shall be construed as a part of the published code and in the event of a conflict between these provisions and their corresponding provisions in the published code, these provisions shall control.[1]
