Any person tampering or interfering with the effectiveness of a smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, emergency lighting, exit signs, fire extinguisher, sprinkler system, suppression system, alarm system, or anyone obstructing a fire exit or propping open a fire door or compromising any other life safety aspects of the structure, shall be in violation of this code and subject to the provisions of Sections 109.4 and 109.4.1 and the person(s) are exempt from the notification requirements of Section 111.4.
