The term person as used in this article is hereby defined to mean and include: a person, firm, labor organizations, partnerships, associations, corporations, legal representatives, trustees in bankruptcy, or receivers.

No person shall throw or explode any firecrackers, roman candles, skyrockets, torpedoes, grenades, or any other combustible fireworks of any kind within the city limits.

Nothing in this article shall prevent any public or private demonstrations or display of fireworks of any kind if conducted under proper police supervision after permission issued by the city, for such demonstration or display shall be of such a character, and so located, discharged or fired, as in the opinion of the city after proper inspection shall not be hazardous to property or endanger any person or persons.

Any person in violation of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined in accordance with the general penalty provision found in section 1.01.009 of this code.
