Parking spaces created for the purpose of a fifteen-minute parking zone shall be established at locations within the Borough where the Borough Council, in its discretion, determines that such spaces are necessary to prevent undue interference with the free movement of traffic.

Upon establishment of a parking space as a fifteen-minute parking zone, the Borough Council shall purchase and erect appropriate signs notifying the public of such parking zone area in accordance with the requirements set forth in the Vehicle Code[1] and regulations promulgated by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

Any person violating any provision of this Part 2 shall be guilty of a summary offense and shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $50.
