The city hereby offers a reward of two hundred and fifty dollars
($250.00) for the arrest and conviction of any person or persons found
guilty of committing the crime of arson within the corporate limits
of the city. This reward is a standing offer and shall be paid out
of the general fund of the city.

(a) Prohibited acts.
It shall be unlawful for any person
to violate any of the following provisions:
(1) No person shall interfere with or delay the fire department while
fighting fires or answering calls, or on practice drills.
(2) On approach of the fire apparatus, all vehicles must stop parallel
to the curb, or parallel to other parked vehicles.
(3) Vehicles must not follow fire apparatus closer than 500 feet, or
one block.
(4) Vehicles must not enter an intersection when fire apparatus is in
operation within 300 feet of the intersection.
(5) Every operator of a vehicle must stop on approach of the fire apparatus
so as not to obstruct intersections.
(6) Vehicles must not be driven over a fire hose, whether containing
water or empty.
(7) Vehicles and pedestrians must follow the directions of police upon
the approach of fire apparatus or at a fire.
(8) False alarms must not be made by alarm box, telephone or otherwise.
(9) Operators of vehicles must clear the way for fire apparatus, police
cars, and other emergency equipment when on call.
(b) Penalty.
Any person who shall violate any provision
of this section shall be fined.

(a) It
shall be unlawful for any person to park or leave any motor vehicle
or other thing within ten (10) feet of any fire plug within the city
limits.
(b) Any
person, firm or corporation violating any provisions of this section
or failing to observe any provisions hereof shall be deemed guilty
of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined.
