(a)
Adopted.
A certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office of the city secretary, being marked and designated as the current edition of the National Electrical Code, including all appendix chapters thereof and including Annex H, as published and as may be revised in part or its entirety by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), be and is hereby adopted as the National Electrical Code of the city for regulating the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of electrical systems as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said electrical code on file in the office of the city are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this section, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in subsection (b) of this section.
