(a)
Adopted.
A certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office of the city secretary, being marked and designated as the current edition of the International Existing Building Code, including all appendix chapters thereof, as published and as may be revised in part or its entirety by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the existing building code of the city for regulating and governing the repair, alteration, change of occupancy, addition and relocation of existing buildings, including historic buildings, as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said existing building code on file in the office of the city are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this section, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes prescribed in subsection (b) of this section.
