The city council hereby adopts the 2015 International Plumbing
Code, which shall be the applicable version of said code for all structures
in the city, as same may be applicable under law. Copies of this code,
as referenced in this section, are on file in the office of the city
secretary for permanent record and inspection. The chief building
official, or his authorized representative, is hereby authorized and
directed to enforce all provisions of this code, as adopted herein
and as amended.

A person who violates a provision of this division and of the
code adopted by this division, as amended, or who fails to perform
an act required of him by this division, commits a misdemeanor offense.
A person commits a separate offense each day or portion of a day during
which a violation is committed, permitted, or continued. An offense
under this division or of a code adopted by this division, as amended,
is punishable by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars and no/100
($500.00). Allegation and evidence of a culpable mental state is not
required for the commission of an offense under this division.

(a)
Swimming pools.
All new swimming pools installed in
the city after the effective date of Ordinance 233 shall be equipped
with recirculating filtration equipment.
(b)
Hot water pipe.
All above-ground hot water piping shall
be insulated in FSK jacket or Armaflex jacket.
