Ordinances calling elections as well as those certifying election
results for the imposition of sales and use taxes are on file in the
office of the city secretary.

The city retains its one percent (1%) sales tax on residential
use of gas and electricity by unanimous vote of the city council as
authorized by the 65th Legislature, Acts 1978.
