(a)
The
International Fuel Gas Code, 2018 edition, with appendix, as published
by the International Code Council, along with the North Central Texas
Council of Governments (NCTCOG) regional amendments passed and adopted
September 2018, a copy of which shall be on file in the office of
the city secretary or building official, is hereby adopted and designated
as the fuel gas code of the city, the same as though such code were
copied at length herein.
(b)
Whenever
in this section an act is prohibited or is made or declared to be
unlawful or an offense or a misdemeanor, or wherever in this section
the doing of any act is required or the failure to do any act is declared
to be unlawful, the violation of any such provision shall be punished
by a fine that shall not be greater or less than the penalty provided
for the same or similar offense under the laws of the state. Each
day any violation of this section shall continue shall constitute
a separate offense.
