(a)
Adoption of standards.
(1)
The city hereby adopts the North Central Texas Council of Governments
Public Works Construction Standards North Central Texas, fifth edition,
(hereinafter referred to as “standards”), by reference
as though they were copied herein fully.
(2)
The city council hereby incorporates the updated standard construction
details as provided in exhibit A, attached to Ordinance 2024-06-01,
and incorporated herein for all purposes.
(3)
The city council hereby adopts the drainage design manual dated May
28, 2021, attached to Ordinance 2021-06-02 as exhibit A, and maintained
on file in the offices of the city (hereinafter referred to as “standards”).
(b)
Responsible official.
Within said standards, when reference
is made to the duties of a certain official named therein, that the
designated official of the city who has duties corresponding to those
of the named official in said standards shall be deemed to be the
responsible official insofar as enforcing the provisions of said standards
are concerned.
(c)
Penalties.
Any person or corporation violating any of the provisions of the standards adopted by this section shall upon conviction be fined a sum in accordance with the general penalty provided in section 1.01.009 of this code per day and each and every day that the provisions of the standards are violated shall be constituted a separate and distinct offense.

(a)
The
parks and recreation master plan, having been reviewed by the parks
and recreation board and city council, and found to be acceptable
and in the best interests of the city and its citizens, is hereby
approved and adopted.
(b)
The
parks and recreation master plan shall be utilized for the purpose
of guiding future dedication, development, and maintenance of parks
and recreation amenities and associated services within the city.
