There is hereby established a municipal court to serve the city, to be known as the Municipal Court of the City of McLendon-Chisholm, Texas. The municipal court provided for herein shall have and exercise that jurisdiction which is conferred by the constitution, statutes and laws of the state. Proceedings in the municipal court shall be governed by Vernon’s Annotated, Code of Criminal Procedure, chapter 45 and such other laws as may be applicable to municipal courts which are not courts of record.
