City of Kermit, TX ARTICLE 5.01 GENERAL PROVISIONS

§ 5.01.001 Applicability of Tax Code.

Except as where otherwise specifically required by this code, all licenses and occupation taxes shall be issued and levied as provided by Texas Tax Code, sections 302.101 and 302.102.

§ 5.01.002 State Motor Vehicle Storage Facility Act not applicable in city.

The Vehicle Storage Facility Act, V.T.C.A., Occupations Code, chapter 2303 and the provisions therein contained, do not apply and shall not be applicable inside and within the corporate limits of the city.
