There is hereby adopted the 2024 International Fuel Gas Code, save and except those portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified, or amended. appendices A, B, and D of the 2024 International Fuel Gas Code are hereby specifically adopted and shall have the same force and effect as if fully set forth in this article. All other appendices of the 2024 International Fuel Gas Code are hereby expressly excluded and shall not be adopted or enforced by the city unless subsequently adopted by ordinance. Each and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions, and terms of such International Fuel Gas Code, published by the International Code Council and on file in the office of the code compliance official, are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof as if fully set forth herein.

The provisions of sections 3.05.121 through 3.05.123 relative to the licensing and examination of plumbers shall apply with equal force and effect to the licensing of gasfitters.

The fees required under this section are located in section B3.07.003 of the code compliance fee schedule located in appendix B of this code and are adopted herein as stated.
