Editor’s note–Former section 3.02.103 pertaining to exterior building construction, was repealed and deleted in its entirety by Ordinance. 718-2018, sec. 2, adopted 5/17/18. Prior to the deletion, this section derived from the following: Ordinance 364-2003, sec. 1, adopted 1/14/03 and Ordinance 635-2016 adopted 4/21/16.
The 2015 edition of the International Building Code, all appendices, the recommended amendments of the North Central Texas Council of Governments, and local amendments are hereby adopted as the official building code of the city. This building code is fully incorporated by reference as though copied into this division in its entirety. The material contained in the International Building Code shall not be included in the formal municipal codification of ordinances but shall be maintained as a public record in the office of the city secretary and will be available for public inspection and copying during regular business hours.

The city may from time to time by ordinance adopt local amendments to the building code as necessary to meet the unique need of the city.
