The 2020 edition of the National Electrical Code, all appendices,
the recommended amendments of the North Central Texas Council of Governments
(dated November 2020), and local amendments are hereby adopted as
the official electrical code of the city. This electrical code is
fully incorporated by reference as though copied into this division
in its entirety. The material contained in the National Electrical
Code shall not be included in the formal codification of ordinances
but shall be maintained as a public record in the office of the city
secretary and will be available for public inspection and copying
during regular business hours.

The city may from time to time by ordinance adopt local amendments
to the electrical code as necessary to meet the unique needs of the
city.
