Ordinances calling elections as well as those certifying election results for the imposition of sales and use taxes are on file in the office of the city secretary.

The imposition of the one percent (1%) city sales tax on the residential use of gas and electricity is hereby continued in full force and effect for the city, pursuant to the laws of the state, and the city secretary is directed to properly notify the office of the state comptroller of public accounts of such continued imposition of said tax, as mandated by such laws.
