The subdivision ordinance, Ordinance 8, adopted by the village on March 15, 1999, as amended, is included at the end of this chapter as exhibit A. Due to the nature of the subdivision ordinance and the technicalities involved in adopting or amending it, such ordinance is printed herein as enacted, with only nonsubstantive formatting and style changes. Capitalization, punctuation and numbering of articles, sections and subsections have been retained as enacted. See the editor’s note for the exhibit for other changes requested by the village. Subsequent amendments will be inserted in their proper place and denoted by a history note following the amended section. Obviously misspelled words have been corrected without notation. Any other material added for purposes of clarification is enclosed in brackets.
(Ordinance adopting Code)
(a) 
The fee for each approval of a plat vacation submitted to the city council shall be in the amount established by city council.
(b) 
The village treasurer shall tender a bill for payment of the above fee to the owner of the tracts being vacated.

(a) 
The fee for each execution transparency sheet which describes a plat or replat submitted for approval by the city council shall be in the amount established by city council.
(b) 
The village secretary shall tender a bill for payment of the above fee to the engineer or surveyor who has represented the client in the approval process.
Editor’s note–Per section 9(C) of the subdivision ordinance, the above section applies to an application to replat residential lots that results in a reduction of a number of lots.

(a) 
The following drawings shall be submitted:
(1) 
One (1) 18 x 24 inch reproducible transparency for execution purposes.
(2) 
Two (2) paper prints of the above transparency.
(3) 
Seven (7) 8-1/2 x 11 inch reductions of the above paper print.
(b) 
One (1) copy of each vacation or release of easement by all services providers shall be submitted.
(c) 
Submittals of plats and replats shall be delivered to the Hurst Creek Municipal Utility District office seven (7) calendar days prior to a normally scheduled meeting of the city council.
Editor’s note–Per section 10(A)(5) of the subdivision ordinance, the above section applies to a replat of residential lots that results in a decrease in the number of lots.
