The parks, recreation, and open space master plan as set forth in exhibit A to Ordinance No. 769-22 (the "parks master plan") is hereby adopted and shall be the guide by which all parks and recreation systems, trails and open space are developed for the use and enjoyment of the public and residents of the city. The parks master plan provides a vital and essential planning tool upon which the city relies for future planning and funding of its parks and related facilities; therefore, the master plan is tangential to and cumulative with the comprehensive plan or master plan of the city and all persons or entities developing land shall comply with the requirements of the parks master plan and related ordinances.

The parks, recreation, and open space master plan set forth as exhibit A to Ordinance No. 769-22 is hereby codified in accordance with the city's home rule charter, and a copy of the parks, recreation and open space master plan shall be maintained on the city's website and on file in the office of the city secretary.
