(a) The
2012 edition of the International Fire Code, as amended, with an appendix
thereto with revisions and all appendices thereto, is hereby adopted
as the standard for the regulating and controlling of all fire prevention
standards within the city, and the same is hereby made a part of this
section as fully and to the same extent as though copied in full.
(b) The
city secretary shall keep on file in her office a copy of the ordinance
adopting this section, the latest copy of the International Fire Code,
2012 edition, and copies of all amendments, changes or revisions that
may be made to same, and such copies shall be open to inspection by
any person.
(c) Any
person, firm, corporation or agent who shall violate a provision of
this code or of the technical codes shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor
and punished by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00).
Each such person shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for
each and every day or portion thereof during which any violation of
any of the provisions of the code or of the technical codes is committed
or continued.
(d) Local amendments.
905.3.1 Height. Class III standpipe systems
shall be installed throughout buildings where the floor level of the
highest story is located more than 20 feet (6096 mm) above the lowest
level of the fire department access, or where the floor level of the
lowest story is located more than 20 feet (6096 mm) below the highest
level of fire department vehicle access.

Vacuum Systems, 2002 edition, and an appendix thereto with revisions
