There is hereby adopted the 2020 edition of the International
Residential Code, regulating and governing the construction, alteration,
movement, enlargement, replacement, repair, equipment, location, removal
and demolition of detached one- and two-family dwellings and multiple
single-family dwellings (townhouses) not more than three stories in
height with separate means of egress in the city; providing for the
issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor.

Prohibit the use of welded wire in residential slabs and driveways.
The builder must use a minimum of 3/8" (#3) rebar in residential slabs
(on 18" centers) with a minimum of 4-1/2" (#4) rebar in the beams.

continuous sheathing method of wall bracing shall be used as listed
in 602.10.4.
