It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to keep more than two (2) horses or two (2) heads of cattle per acre within the corporate limits of the City of Pottsboro, Texas.

The outer perimeter of the pen must be at least twenty-five feet (25') from the property line.

No horse enclosed area shall be closer than twenty-five feet (25') from any house, building, or structure where people reside, cook, eat, conduct business, or sleep.

Manure and debris in the pen shall be cleaned up daily and placed in an air-tight bin and sprinkled with disinfectant daily. Failure of any person to maintain any such horse enclosure in a sanitary manner or condition shall be unlawful.

Any person, firm, or corporation that shall violate any of the provisions of this article shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in accordance with the general penalty provision in Section 1.109 of this code. Each day's violation shall constitute a separate offense.
