Any person, firm or corporation installing any such equipment as herein provided shall secure the approval of same as complying with the requirements of this article by the city fire marshal as herein provided for, and shall, upon requesting such inspection for approval, pay an inspection fee of $1.00, for each piece of equipment, to cover cost of inspection.
