(a) 
No person shall stop, stand, or park a truck over 2-1/2 tons in weight on the square area being made a square by the following streets: Reavis St., on the north side, McCubbin St. on the east side, Lee St. on the west side, and O’Buch St. (FM 922) on the south side, or any street in the city limits for a time period in excess of thirty (30) minutes, except when necessary to avoid a conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the law or the directions of a police officer or traffic-control device.
(b) 
Every person who shall be convicted of a violation of subsection (a) of this section shall be punished by a fine in accordance with the general penalty provided in section 1.01.009 of this code per day for each violation.
