(a)
The
International Fire Code, 2018 edition, and all revisions thereof,
together with its addendums, published by the International Code Council,
and referred to as the "International Fire Code," is hereby adopted
and incorporated as fully as if set out at length in this article,
and the provisions of such code shall be controlling on all premises,
including but not limited to all buildings thereon, within the corporate
limits of the village.
(b)
The
Travis County fire marshal is authorized to enforce the Volente fire
code within the municipal boundaries of the village.
(c)
The
Volente fire code applies within the village and within any extraterritorial
jurisdiction the village may ever have.
(d)
The
doing or performing of any act in violation of this code is additionally
defined as a nuisance and prohibited within the village.
(e)
The
Travis County fire marshal shall enforce this code to prevent and
summarily abate and remove the nuisance in accordance with chapter
217 of the Texas Local Government Code.
