Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of this division shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction be subject to a fine in accordance with the general provisions of the Code of Ordinances.

The following use regulations shall be enforced in all town parks:
(1) 
Park hours shall be from dawn to dusk, every day of the year.
(2) 
Town officials shall close all or part of a park or park facility because of weather or unsafe conditions that could endanger users or result in damage to the park or park facility.
(3) 
Overnight camping or sleeping shall be unlawful, unless authorized by a permit issued by the town manager, or his or her designee.
(4) 
Bicycle and tricycle riding shall be governed by safe riding practices and consideration for use of park areas by others.
(5) 
Fires shall be permitted only in enclosed fireplaces or grills provided for this purpose.
(6) 
It shall be unlawful to break glass and other dangerous objects in all park areas, recreation areas, or swimming pools.
(7) 
It shall be unlawful to leave children under age seven unattended.
(8) 
The unauthorized sale of goods or services within the park is unlawful.
(9) 
It shall be unlawful for any person to carry any firearm, except those persons who are licensed peace officers, as described in the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure.
(10) 
It shall be unlawful for any person to carry or discharge firearms (unless duly authorized), fireworks, air guns, bows and arrows, slingshots or any device which would or could project any object which could harm any person in a public park.
(11) 
Speed of vehicles. Unless otherwise posted, the rate of speed of vehicles in all public parks shall not exceed 15 miles per hour. This requirement is waived regarding maintenance and/or police, fire, and emergency vehicles, as the situation may require.
(12) 
Unless otherwise approved by the town manager, or his or her designee, it shall be unlawful to use any town-owned park property for the flying of remote-controlled model aircraft.
(13) 
The consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages shall be prohibited in all public parks unless a private reserved permit is obtained from the town manager, or his or her designee.
(14) 
Unless indicated in a designated location(s), the hitting of golf balls shall be prohibited in all public parks.
(15) 
Unless indicated in a designated location(s), the use of motorized vehicles shall be prohibited in all public parks.
(16) 
If animals defecate in public parks, the owner shall immediately remove such waste by using an appropriate plastic bag, with disposal of said bag in a public receptacle in the park. Exceptions to this ruling are animals in police service, or a “service animal” performing tasks assisting a person(s) with disabilities.
(17) 
Unless so designated by the town manager, or his or her designee, native and other animals and vegetative materials, and their associated habitats, shall be undisturbed in public parks.
(18) 
It shall be unlawful for any person to throw or deposit trash, yard waste or solid waste of any kind in any public park area, except in public receptacles.
(19) 
Parking of vehicles shall be limited to designated areas; exempted vehicles, as the situation(s) may warrant, are maintenance, emergency, police, fire, and public and private utility vehicles.
(20) 
Polluting the water in any pond, water fountain, stream or lake shall be prohibited.
(21) 
Reservation for the private use of town park facilities shall require a permit from the town.

The town manager, or his or her designee, may exclude any person from the use of a park or parks if the person(s):
(1) 
Engages in conduct that the town manager, or his or her designee, determines poses a continuing threat to the safety of park users.
(2) 
Intentionally damages park property.
(3) 
Continually violates park rules or regulations.
