The fire chief shall be fully authorized to examine available
data regarding weather, climate, and other meteorological conditions
and, based on his/her interpretation thereof, declare a ban on some
or all outdoor fires, open flames, burning coals, welding, and other
practices that could logically cause or significantly contribute to
an uncontrolled grass or other outdoor fire and the unintended destruction
of property.
