The agreement dated May 12, 1969 between the State of Texas and the city for the maintenance, control, supervision and regulation of certain state highways and/or portions of state highways located in the city is hereby approved, and the mayor is hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the city and to transmit the same to the state for appropriate action.
