(a) 
Requests for the rental of city park(s) facilities and equipment shall be directed to the city secretary (or city designee), who shall decide the appropriate procedure for approval. Community and special events may require an additional special/community event application which will be reviewed by the directors or assigned staff of the appropriate departments. Once application is completed, it will be sent to the city secretary for approval.
(1) 
The special event application must be completed and returned to the city 60 days prior to the event.
(b) 
Individuals, clubs, organizations, or businesses may rent city parks and recreation facilities, when available. A deposit may be required to rent city parks, recreation facilities and equipment. The deposit shall be a separate check from rental payment. Upon inspection and determination that parks and recreation facilities and or equipment have not been damaged and clean-up cost have not incurred, the deposit shall be refunded. Parks should be left as they were upon arrival.

(a) 
Cancellation of reservations must be made no less than 48 hours prior to the reserved date in order to receive a refund. If the use is set for a Saturday, Sunday or city holiday, cancellation must be received no later than two (2) business days prior to the event. Non-use due to inclement weather conditions will be taken into consideration for a refund.
(b) 
Deposits will be refunded upon inspection of the parks. The standard of cleanup shall be to leave the park as it was when you arrived in order to receive deposit.
