Whoever in this city shall, by forcible means, resist, or by
threats, menaces or gestures or other means hinder or delay, any authorized
officer of the city in making any arrests or serving any process or
doing any other act required of him in the discharge of his official
duties shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction
thereof shall be fined.

It shall be unlawful for any person to consume any alcoholic
beverages while in or on any of the public parks, or in or on any
streets, alleys, and parking lots adjacent thereto.

It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to climb or loiter
on or around the city elevated storage tank.

Any person or persons who shall obstruct any sidewalk inside
the corporate limits of the city by placing thereon any goods, wares,
or merchandise of any description, or any box or boxes, shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor. This shall not apply for a space of two feet
from the respective property lines facing said sidewalk, which said
space may be used for displaying such goods, wares, merchandise, box
or boxes, and provided further that this shall not apply where said
goods, wares, merchandise, box or boxes shall be temporarily placed
on said sidewalks while being unloaded, preparatory to housing inside
any building or buildings.

It shall be unlawful for any automobile repairman to repair
automobiles in any street or alley in the city.

It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to break or attempt
to break any electric bulb or to in any way injure any streetlight
within the city.

It shall be unlawful for any person to explode or cause to be
exploded any fireworks within the city limits.

Any person found guilty of discharging any gun, pistol, or firearm
of any description on or across any public square, street or alley
in the city shall be fined no more than the maximum allowable by state
statute.

[The city council hereby adopts] applicable state law relating
to the authority of a person who is licensed to carry a handgun to
openly carry a holstered handgun; creating a criminal offense; providing
penalties, was signed by Gov. Greg Abbott enacted by the Legislature
of the State of Texas and put into effect on September 1, 2015.

It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to use any rubber
sling or air rifle within the limits of the city, or to throw any
stone or missiles of any kind in or across any street or public place,
or upon or against any house or building in the city, and any person
or persons violating this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor,
and on conviction thereof shall be fined.

It shall be unlawful for any person to spit or expectorate upon
the wall of any building, or upon any sidewalk, or the floor or floors
of any depot, post office, store, hotel, inn, workshop, theater or
other public building in which people commonly resort for purposes
of business, amusement or recreation or other lawful purposes.
