City of Flatonia, TX ARTICLE A5.000 BUSINESS RELATED FEES

§ A5.001 Peddler’s or solicitor’s permit.

Each applicant for a peddler’s or solicitor’s permit shall be charged a permit fee of fifty dollars ($50.00). Applicants demonstrating a valid claim of interstate commerce shall be exempt from the fee requirements herein, but shall be otherwise regulated by the provisions of article 4.02 of the Code of Ordinances.

§ A5.002 Junkyard permit.

The permit fee to operate or maintain a junkyard within the city shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00).

§ A5.003 Permit for parade, carnival, circus or tent show.

The permit fee to conduct a parade upon the city streets or to hold a circus, carnival or tent show is twenty-five dollars ($25.00). This fee is nonrefundable, regardless of whether the permit is granted or denied.

§ A5.004 Sexually oriented business license.

The license fee to operate a sexually oriented business within the city shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00).

§ A5.005 Permit for public fireworks display.

The city fire marshal may issue a permit to conduct a public fireworks display upon the receipt of a permit fee of five dollars ($5.00).
