Ordinance 195, adopted on November 13, 1986, has been previously repealed by the passage of Ordinance 309-1, on October 1, 1993, and by that ordinance the position of city administrator of the town was eliminated. The powers and duties to be performed by the city administrator are hereby assumed by the mayor of the town.

The town, being a type A general-law municipality, and having a population of less than 5,000, pursuant to the terms and provisions of section 22.076, Local Government Code, V.T.C.A., does hereby abolish the office of marshal for the town.
