Before water service may be initiated at a location, the customer must pay the following fees:
(1) 
Deposits.
A utility deposit shall be paid in accordance with article 5.000 of this fee schedule.

Disconnect list fees.
(A) 
Residential: $25.00.
(B) 
Commercial: $25.00.
(C) 
Disconnect fee, if reconnected by anyone other than a city employee: $25.00.
(3) 
Reconnection.
Reconnection made after normal hours: $50.00.

For residential water service, the monthly rates are as follows:

For service within the city limits:
(A) 
First 2,000 gallons: $33.05 minimum monthly base fee.
(B) 
Next 28,000 gallons: $5.18 per 1,000 gallons.
(C) 
30,001–50,000 gallons: $6.73 per 1,000 gallons.
(D) 
50,001–100,000 gallons: $8.26 per 1,000 gallons.
(E) 
Over 100,000 gallons: $12.37 per 1,000 gallons.

For service outside the city limits:
(A) 
First 2,000 gallons: $49.58 minimum monthly base fee.
(B) 
Next 28,000 gallons: $7.76 per 1,000 gallons.

30,001–50,000 gallons: $10.10 per 1,000 gallons.

50,001–100,000 gallons: $12.39 per 1,000 gallons.

Next 28,000 gallons: $9.20 per 1,000 gallons.

30,001–50,000 gallons: $11.50 per 1,000 gallons.

50,001–100,000 gallons: $13.80 per 1,000 gallons.

100,001 and over: $17.25 per 1,000 gallons.

(a) 
Water connection fee for up to a 1-inch meter is $1,200.00 plus actual cost of additional materials required for the installation related to the meter connection.
(b) 
Tap fee for up to a 1-inch tap is $2,500.00 plus actual cost of additional materials required for the installation related to the tap.

For temporary use of water from a fire hydrant (bulk sales), the minimum payment for service and the first 2,000 gallons is $150.00:

Any future changes in the city's cost of water purchased from the city's suppliers will be passed through to the city's customers.
