A utility deposit shall be paid in accordance with article 5.000 of this fee schedule.

(a) 
For residential sewer service, the monthly rates are as follows:
(1) 
For service within the city limits:
(A) 
Minimum monthly base rate: $39.64.
(B) 
Volume charge: $6.56 per 1,000 gallons.
(2) 
For service outside the city limits:
(A) 
Minimum monthly base rate: $59.46.
(B) 
Volume charge: $9.84 per 1,000 gallons.
(b) 
The volume charge shall be based on the gallons of water used, determined by an average monthly consumption figure. Average monthly consumption figures for each user will be determined annually using the average actual water consumption during the months of December, January and February for use during the next calendar year.

The monthly rate for commercial and industrial sewer service is $6.80 per 1,000 gallons of water used plus a monthly base rate for commercial and industrial sewer service determined by meter size for customers with: (1) separate dedicated water meters for irrigation purposes; or (2) with water meter in excess of 3/4 inch, as follows:

(b) 
The monthly rate for commercial and industrial sewer service for customers: (1) not having separate dedicated water meters for irrigation purposes; and (2) having 3/4-inch water meters, is $20.00 per month plus $6.80 per 1,000 gallons of water used.

Any industrial pretreatment sewer customers shall pay an additional monthly surcharge of $0.090 per pound of biological oxygen demand (BOD) plus $0.057 per pound of total suspended solids (TSS) as measured at the source.

(a) 
Residential.
The fee for a residential sewer tap is $275.00.
(b) 
Nonresidential.
The fee for a nonresidential sewer tap is $275.00 plus actual costs of materials and installation related to the tap.

Any future changes in the city's cost of wastewater treatment from the city's suppliers will be passed through to the city's customers.
