The applications for permits shall be made to the city clerk
and shall specify the place in or on which the circus, fair, carnival
or other similar type fair is to be conducted.

It shall be unlawful to operate any circus, fair, carnival or
other similar type fair within the city limits without showing proof
of liability insurance to the city secretary. The liability insurance
will be in minimum amounts of $100,000.00 per person and $300,000.00
per occurrence.

The fee for a circus, fair, carnival or other similar type fair
permit shall be in the amount established by city council per day
for each permit.

It shall be the duty of the chief of police to see that every
exhibition, amusement, theatrical or other public show or amusement
and the premises used are inspected to insure the health, welfare
and safety of such persons who may attend or be employed by such circus,
fair, carnival or other similar type fair. If it is determined by
the chief of police that the circus, fair, carnival or other similar
type fair is either not in compliance with the ordinances of the city
or is a hazard to the health, safety and welfare of anyone who might
attend or be employed by such circus, fair, carnival or other similar
type fair, then the chief shall not issue a permit or, if such permit
has already been issued, shall revoke the permit by the authority
of this article.
