(a)
Adoption.
The International Residential Code (IRC) 2018 edition, together with such requirements and rules as herein provided, are hereby adopted, shall be complied with, and become part of this code.
(b)
Conflicting provisions.
Should the provisions of the International Residential Code (IRC) 2018 edition conflict with any portion of this division, the provisions of this division shall be complied with.
(c)
Penalty.
Any person violating any provision of such code shall be punished as provided for in section 4.02.001(h) of this code.
