(a)
It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge any firearm as defined in title 10, chapter 46, section 46.01 of the Texas Penal Code within the corporate limits of the city.
(b)
This section shall not apply to police officers in the discharge of their duties.
(c)
A person who is lawfully defending person of property shall have a defense to prosecution for a violation of this section.
