When an existing water service line (fire, domestic or combined) is replaced or removed, the abandoned water service line must be disconnected at the water main by removing the existing corporation valve or tapping valve, disconnecting the abandoned water service line, and removing all valve boxes on the abandoned water service line using approved Water Division material. Only after such removal will the billing cease.
