The following driveways, rights-of-way and private roadways or areas, which provide a means of entrance or exit from business property, are hereby designated as fire zones:
A. 
That area consisting of the entire length of the front of the premises and that areas consisting of the entire length of the southerly side of the premises and extending from the front and from the side a distance of 15 feet, said premises presently occupied as a retail food market on Main Street and Hamilton Street in the Borough of Englishtown.

Nothing contained in this article shall prohibit the reasonable use of the driveways, right-of-way and private roadways or areas designated as fire zones herein by vehicles when and while engaged in making deliveries or servicing buildings located within said prohibited areas.
Fire zones shall be striped and lettered in yellow on a paved surface, which lettering shall remain legible. Metal "fire zone" signs shall be provided, erected and maintained by the owner or owners or operators and placed at the discretion of the Chief of the Fire Department. Said metal signs shall be designated fire zones and shall conform in design, quality and lettering to the state code and approved by the Chief of the Fire Department.
Any owner or owners of property hereinabove described as a fire zone who do not consent to the Borough of Englishtown providing, erecting and maintaining such signs shall provide, erect and maintain metal signs as above described at such locations as the Chief of the Fire Department shall deem necessary and desirable to provide adequate notice and warning to any user of the said driveway, right-of-way, and private roadway or area.
Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not to exceed $500 or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period of not to exceed 90 days or by both such fine and imprisonment, and each violation of any of the provisions of this article, and each day the same is violated, shall be deemed and taken to be a separate and distinct offense.
